Artist, Julie Duffy has developed the Equizart range of horse inspired art from her studio in Co Tyrone, Ireland.   Julie has a very contemporary approach to the depiction of horses and their environment and she communicates the energy and colour of equestrian life through works of art, gifts and homewares that are full of colour, texture and drama.

Horses and painting are Julie Duffy two big passions in life and she has spent her life pursuing both personally and professionally.  She studied a BA in Fine Art in England but missed her horses so much that she took a job in a stable yard just outside Rome.  For Julie this was la dolce vita – the opportunity to combine her love of the creative arts and equestrian sports.
 
In her younger days Julie was a very competitive equestrian sports woman and her success in this field led her into to establish an equestrian centre near Strabane which she continues to run alongside her Equizart business.  Every day then, Julie is surrounded by the animals she loves so much and which are her inspiration for her horse art collections.

The quality of Equizart’s equestrian art, giftware and homeware is of the very highest standard and most of the range is produced in conjunction with local artisan businesses.   The Horse Art is available in Acrylic Blocks, Aluminium and Modern Frames.  Equizart cushions are produced using sumptuous velvets to bring a luxurious look and feel to any chair or sofa.
